While the property is quiet and secluded, it's just a short drive away from tons of restaurants and anything you might need from Walmart, Home Depot or Vons. But try to avoid the cholla cacti because those puppies are sharp.ĭesert of the Gods is conveniently located halfway between Pioneertown and Joshua Tree, giving guests quick and easy access to the High Desert's most attractive destinations like Pappy & Harriets, Red Dog Saloon, Integratron, Joshua Tree National Park, and more. Say hi to the jackrabbits and roadrunners that commonly scurry across the property, especially in the mornings. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site bocce ball court and washer pit (like cornhole but cooler). Each site has its own fire pit, parking, and plenty of space to accommodate at least 2-3 tents each. There are two camp sites on the property, generously spaced apart with native desert plants and shrubs (and lots of Joshua Trees), providing plenty of privacy without being totally isolated. That said, we get really good cell reception so you can still access the outside world if you want to :) Sunrises and sunsets are especially magical at Desert of the Gods, where we encourage you to relax, unplug, and appreciate your insignificance beneath the stars.
